Poetry scrapbook ; typescript, handwritten. Assembled after 1886. Note glued to cover says, “Memorabilia of Miss Blanche Bishop, M.A. loaned to ACADIA UNIVERSITY LIBRARY by Miss Lilian Bishop Not to be taken from the Library”. Written on spine “B’s verse Scrap Book” and “Lilian E. Bishop, Greenwich, N.S.” Includes clippings and typescript poems glued onto pages of published Acts from the Third Session of the First Parliament of 1870, Canada. An image of a woman is glued onto page 86 with a letter from 1918 to Miss Bishop from E.M. Keirstead regarding the selections of poems and prose being “worthy of publication”. Glued to the inside back cover is a poem and note under the title “Dear Clara”.
