A young girl stands outside the house and there is a bicycle leaning against a tree in the right of the image. Kent Lodge was built in 1761 and was also known as the Elisha Dewolf House. At one point it served as a residence for Acadia University students. The section on the right burned, but the section on the left still stands. It is a Provincially Designated Heritage Property and is privately owned, standing at the corner of Main Street and Cherry Lane. Annotation on front of postcard: "Kent Lodge, Wolfville, N.S." Inscribed on reverse in ink: "Miss Florence Brewing / 5 Hartland Street / Boston Mass / We are here for / the day. Beautiful / place and lovely / weather. Leave / for St. John to / morrow morning. / Save some time / for my Wednesday / afternoon. L."
